Timberlake Wrestling room upgrade
We want to give a big thank you to the Timberlake Boosters and many community members and parents for volunteering their time and resources to update the Timberlake High School wrestling room. This came just in time for wrestling season! Go Tigers!

Lakeland High School Rotary Soccer Field Concession Stand/Restrooms

Lakeland Soccer Restrooms and Concessions

The Lakeland Rotary Soccer Field concession stand/restrooms were completed in late October of 2024.  Lakeland Activities Director, Matt Neff, saw a need for this building and found local businesses who wanted to help. This project could not have happened without donations from these community members and local businesses.  Thank you for supporting Lakeland students.

Lakeland Middle School Gym Mural

Lakeland Middle School Gym Mural
We can't tell you enough how grateful we are. With a nod to the mural that was over 50 years old, Scott from Artcolab created this amazing mural for the Lakeland Middle School gym over the summer. Lakeland Middle School, Francesca Myers and the Lakeland Jt. School District would like to thank all of the donors for their partnership in making our school a better place for our students and the community. Super 1 Foods, Turnbull Enterprises, Serights Ace Hardward, The Links GC, Stoneridge GC, Riley Creek Blueberry Farm, Sage Boutique, Ashley Oscarson - My Blessed Homestead, Tosha Sardinha , The Warren Family, Heavenly Brews, Panhandle Red, Twin Lakes Golf Course, The McLean Family, LEA, Squeaky's Car Wash, Coeur d Alene Builders Supply and several donors who came through the pancake feed!

Athol Elementary and Spirit Lake Elementary

If you have been in Spirit Lake or Athol recently you might have noticed some work being done on their elementary schools. Our Lakeland Board of Trustees was strategic in using our Esser funds for approved operational expenses. This allowed the district to generate fund balance savings to pay for the needed siding improvements to the Lakeland Middle School last summer and now Athol and Spirit Lake Elementary schools.

Lakeland Middle School Gym Restrooms

The Lakeland Middle School restrooms near the gym were updated over the summer. Fairway Floor, Inc. donated the floor to ceiling tile and flooring for both bathrooms. They also donated the time and labor for the installation. These restrooms are used by not only Lakeland Middle School students but by the Rathdrum Community at large for many Rathdrum Park and Rec events. Thank you Fairway Floor for supporting our students and Rathdrum Community.

Lakeland Middle School Gym

Lakeland Middle School Gym
Over the summer, the Lakeland Middle School Gym ceiling and walls were updated with a fresh coat of paint. The Lakeland Jt. School Board of Trustees approved the use of the Plant Facilities Fund to have this project completed.

Kiefer Field

Thank you Lakeland Junior Hawks Football and Cheer. Terry Kiefer Field at the Lakeland Middle School is home to Lakeland Junior Tackle and Cheer. Since 1982, the people of Lakeland Junior Tackle have selflessly donated countless hours teaching our kids how to play football and recently added cheer.  Junior Football and Cheer recently finished a huge resurfacing project that has significantly improved the playing surface. The grass was removed, the ground leveled and new sod brought in. We are so thankful for this group of people who are dedicated to the youth of Rathdrum and the surrounding community. We also know that this project would not be possible without the help of the sponsors. Thank you to Earthscape Land Works, Inc., Roofing Northwest and all of the incredible businesses and people who donated their time, money and effort to this field.

Developmental Preschool Play Structure

Developmental Preschool Play Structure
We want to give a big thank you to the Marcus Anderson Family Foundation for providing the funds for the Lakeland School District to purchase a play structure for our Developmental Preschool at Twin Lakes Elementary. The Developmental Preschool at TLE is a preschool for children with disabilities. Our kids are going to love it!!!
