Social Media Protocols and Accounts
To ensure effective and consistent communication with all patrons, the Lakeland Jt. School District (LJSD), including its departments and individual school buildings, will utilize official social media accounts to stay connected with students, families, staff, and community members.
Official Social Media Account Requirements
For a social media account to be recognized as an official district account, the following criteria must be met:

Login credentials must be shared with district administration.

A LJSD staff member (teacher or administrator) must be designated to oversee the account. This includes monitoring posts, comments, and overall engagement to ensure appropriate and responsive communication.
Approved Social Media Platforms
Any account that bears the name of any Lakeland Jt. School District school, club, athletic team etc that is not listed below, is not an official social media account and is not in compliance with the Lakeland Jt. School District social media protocols.
